		<description>Thanks Amy.  I&#039;m glad you&#039;re experiencing your work that way -- to me, at least, that seems like the most rewarding relationship with working.  I agree that meditation is a good word for describing the exercise -- when I wrote this I was thinking about some Vipassana meditation I did, where the instructor told me to notice each thought and body movement that happened as I was sitting in silence.  -- Best, Chris</description>

Your description of paying attention to mind-wandering sounds a lot like a meditation technique. I think that&#039;s appropriate. Why shouldn&#039;t we have a &quot;meditative&quot; mind when we&#039;re working? It is especially helpful when the work is tedious or just plain hard. Those are the times when we really would like to drift away.</description>
