Hi Molly -- I'm glad you enjoyed it. I find that it's amazing how much more fulfilling life can become if I focus on the ways I might not be letting it in, as opposed to the problems that supposedly exist out in the world.

Great post. Important for us to see how we may be prohibiting ourselves from allowing life. Important so we can live fully...

Thanks.

Hi Giovanna -- I'm glad you enjoyed the post. It seems to be in keeping with a lot of what you've written on your blog about fully appreciating life and what we have. Best, Chris

Never go back to the old way :-) I like that a lot.
I love the message of this post, life is beautiful. But we can not see it if we open ourselves up to it.
Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for your comment Andy. Whether the difference in my experience was based more on my age or my new way of being is an interesting question. It's kind of like the question some people have about transformational work. When people come out of a workshop having had a breakthrough and overcome limiting beliefs or fears, I find that they often wonder whether the workshop created the change, or they were bound to have that shift anyway as their bodies grew and changed over time.

I do know that the years since my childhood have gifted me with the opportunity to be exposed to many more perspectives on life, including the spiritual teachings I've absorbed since then that I believe gave rise to my new ability to appreciate the world. In that sense, time has been a wonderful teacher.

In gratitude,
Chris
